Hakka

Hakka Hakka

Hakka is also known as the President or chairman (of the ferrymen, not to be confused with Kuse the chairperson). He, like Bekko, is another ferryman with his own loan office. He is the new president of the Ferryman of the River Management Department. Carefree and bubbly he seems to have a love for annoying and copying Bekko. Bekko also mentions that it is rare for Hakka to show up on time.

Oddly enough he seems to think Bekko has a nice butt (and that he is jealous) and likes to comment on such things, using his position as ferryman president to make Bekko uncomfortable. It is very rare that Hakka and Bekko actually agree on something.

Hakka is quite smart despite his spastic antics. Recognizing that Bekko's Z-Loan group is important Hakka creates his own group, the Alive Loan and calls them A-Loan for short. Hakka even goes so far as to flaunt that "A" comes before "Z" in the alphabet.

Hakka is not only the president of the Ferryman River Management and A-Loan, but also leader of the Akashic Record Reform Committee (ARRC), thus a double agent. His powers are great, which is proven when he pulls out Carmella's core (though he returns it) and easily stops Shiba.

Up

Zen Inubashiri

character character

Zen Inubashiri, nicknamed runt by Chika and Two Swords by Sotetsu, is the rough, let's get this done type. He rivals Chika, sporting two swords and a louder mouth. He often ridicules Z-Loan saying that A-loan is superior, but has a soft spot for Michiru after she bandaged his wound. He's really short but is actually a senior in high school.

Up

Toko Toma

character character

Toko is the female member of Hakka's Alive Loan and a second year high school student at Hakuoh, the same school Zen and Shuji go to. She can sense zombies at long distances, being able to identify them more easily than Michiru. She seems cheery and bubbly. She thinks zombies are scary but doesn't let that stop her, though she's more of a tracker than a fighter. She has a particular dislike for Michiru after she helped out Zen, further accentuating their rivalry.

Up

Shuji Tsugumi

character character

Shuji Tsugumi, nicknamed Machine Gun by Sotetsu is Shito's A-Loan rival. He is constantly tired and generally lazy. He is almost always seen with headphones. His aim isn't too precise which may lead to his teammates (mostly Zen) getting injured. He finds Shito's love of figurines offensive and disgusting, making this known to the other boy.
