Shimotsuki Kuse

Aka: Chair Person, Keeper of the Key

Shimotsuki Kuse, more commonly known as the chairperson is one of the most mysterious characters of Zombie Loan. At first we are led to think she is a normal human, even Michiru believes this. The chairperson helps Michiru find a place to live at the school dorms. She enjoys playing video games and generally quiet and calm.

It is during a trip to a hot spring resort, which was also her idea, that we found out more about the chair person and her special powers. When facing what could be an illegal zombie, she is the only one who realizes that it is not a zombie but a "living human" (actually a werewolf).

As the group tracks down the werewolf to a cave, Kuse reveals herself to be the keeper of the key. She manages to bring the werewolf back to his senses. The "keeper of the key" appears to be a pretty important job, but the anime doesn't elaborate too much about it, and so the chair person remains a very mysterious character... at least until we can investigate the later volumes of the manga.
