Zombie Loan Payment 2: Are you Gonna Die?

Michiru saw a ring around her neck and is feeling depressed because she is sure she will die soon. She hides in her room waiting for the moment to come and hoping that she can live a little longer if she stays there. She refuses to go out even when Chika and Shito try to get her to help with her shinigami eyes.

Neither Shito nor Chika think that hiding in her room is helping Michiru in any way. We learn a little more about her background, her aunt an uncle seem to have taken her in for the sake of having access to her parent's inheritance.

Michiru is frightened about her upcoming "certain" death, but when she hears that one of her classmates and friends is in danger she decides to go out to face the world to help her.

At the school, Shito, Chika and Michiru find the zombie responsible for the students who were reported missing. The school nurse turned out to be an illegal zombie.

Shito and Chika defeat the nurse and guide her spirit, but they are injured in battle. This is not a big problem for Shito and Chika since they are zombies and Yuuta can heal them. However, Michiru who is human could die from her wounds.

She is sure that this was destiny and is about to give up, but it turns out that she survived with some help from Z-Loan. She now had a debt to pay to Z-Loan but she was able to survive without becoming a zombie and only losing one of her pigtails. She later cuts the other one to even out her hair and this is where her new shorter hair style comes from.

Feeling that she shouldn't settle for things so easily, Michiru decides to try a little harder at life and make the best of things. She moves out of her aunt and uncle's house and goes in search of a new place to live.
