Koume

Koume has a small part in the first series and it is yet to be known if she'll play a bigger role later, though it's obvious she's not an ordinary human.

Koume works at a newspaper stand where the Z-Loan team go off to find Zarame, whom she calls Master Zarame. This girl has the ability to understand Chibi Zarame and is amazed when she realizes that Michiru can understand him too.

Her connection to the reaper is not revealed but it is doubtful that she's a zombie since it is mentioned that Zarame sometimes tries to reap legal zombies too and Koume shows no worries being around Zarame.

When the Z-Loan team asks Koume to bring out Zarame, they are expecting him to come out in his fully grown form, thus proving that Koume has been around Zarame while he still had his core.

Her hair color is similar to Zarame's. Maybe she's a reaper in training, a younger sister or some kind of being that isn't quite a reaper but serves the reaper. I'll have to ask Snow if such a being is mentioned in mythology since she's the mythology expert of Black Ring.
