Yuuta is another zombie indebt to Z-Loan. He was born on October 1, weighs 88 pounds and stands 5'1". His blood type is A.He is a healer who rarely goes out to battle. But he does play an important role, not only healing Shito and Chika, but also searching for new jobs for them in the online databases. Most of the time, Yuuta stays at the Z-Loan office and occasionally goes out to help in the zombie hunting missions. He also searches for clues on the internet about the latest zombie cases.

Yuuta is cheerful and sometimes a little odd. He has named his hands Ken-ken and Kon-kon and often makes hand signs to represent the two. The events that turned Yuuta into a zombie are not revealed in the anime. His power allows him to materialize bandages.

Sotetsu Asou also known as the Dub King and Adventurous Epicurean, is another of Bekko's customers though he has no intentions of becoming human any time soon. Instead he chooses to pay the renovation fee for his loan and spend the rest of his time traveling looking for good food.

Sotetsu's weapon is an axe, his birthday is August 8 and he drives a motorcycle often speeding. He measures 6'3", weights 173 pounds and his blood type is O.

He's a loving, loud, third year student at the academy. When he arrives on scene at the school, many students are whispering about the return of the "Dub King". Other then being carefree, Sotetsu is strong and very respectful of Bekko. He is also very popular with ladies.

He seems to care for the other members of the Z-Loan team. The only exception appears to be Ohtsu. He and Ohstu look more like rivals and Sotetsu gets mad when he is partnered up with Ohtsu.

Koyomi Yoimachi is nicknamed Lacey Cop and Watchkeeper Koyomi since she helps take care of the dorm. She also goes to the same school as Chika, Shito, Michiru and Sotetsu. She measures 5'6", weights 112, her birthday is May 25 and her blood type is O.

She is hyper, enthusiastic, and a bit silly. On a more serious side she is shown to be empathic, she says she can feel certain emotions when they are facing the werewolf. She is not in debt but admits to being a part time worker at Z-Loan.

Koyomi doesn't seem to have a great image of herself. She refuses to get a cute lacey outfit to match Michiru simply because she would not look good in it. She even comments that her body is shaped oddly and she shows signs of embarrassment, blushing and reluctance to leave the fitting room. Upon seeing how good she looks, Michiru and the shop keeper compliment her. That is all it takes to boost her confidence.

She loves the soft drink Fantan but gets drunk off it. When this happens her darker alter ego, Yomi, appears. Yomi is much more serious and somewhat distraught compared to Koyomi. She is known as the dead man's tongue. The Z-Loan group uses her to get information on certain deaths.

Yomi does not want to disappear; she clearly has a goal to keep living. It saddens her to think she will not exist. She doesn't seem to like men at all and she has a particular affinity for Michiru.

Koyomi seems to have a slight crush on Sotetsu. However, when confronted about her feelings for Sotetsu by Michiru, she reveals that one night Koyomi got drunk on Fantan and vaguely remembers hitting on Sotetsu. She doesn't remember anything in the middle, when she woke up the two were in bed together. Afterwards Sotetsu always treated her the same, so she has a hard time confronting him. However, she mentions that there is someone else she likes.

Ohtsu Sawatari is a mysterious man who fights using blue flames. He seems to have a variety of connections and usually does his zombie hunting and investigations on his own, though he sometimes teams up with the other Z-Loan zombies too. His birthday is May 15, his blood type is A, he measures 6'3.2" and weights 187 pounds.

He is well known in the medical field, as confirmed by some doctors talking about him. This grants him access to research facilities, and chances to investigate them.

Shimotsuki Kuse is also known as the chairperson and Keeper of the Key. She is one of the most mysterious characters of Zombie Loan. At first we are led to think she is a normal human, even Michiru believes this. The chairperson helps Michiru find a place to live at the school dorms. She enjoys playing video games and is generally quiet and calm.

It is during a trip to a hot spring resort, which was also her idea, that we found out more about the chairperson and her special powers. When facing what could be an illegal zombie, she is the only one who realizes that it is not a zombie but a "living human" (actually a werewolf). As the group tracks down the werewolf to a cave, Kuse reveals herself to be the keeper of the key. She manages to bring the werewolf back to his senses. The "keeper of the key" appears to be a pretty important job but also very secretive.

When we first meet this boy he is thought to be an illegal zombie and hunted by Chika and Shito. It is the Kuse who realizes that he is still alive and saves him. She says that his door is rusted and hard to open, then uses her powers as the keeper of the key to help him go back to his senses.

He is temporarily named Pochi and returns to the city with the group under the care of the Kuse. When the group is heading home, after being cleaned up, he looks like a cute little boy who sits puppy style. At first he doesn't speak, instead behaving like a wolf or dog, even biting Koyomi when she tried to feed him pocky.

Later, he returns and is introduced as Raika (Lyca). Kuse had been taking care of him and teaching him to talk and behave. He is quite fond of Kuse and joins Bekko at her request. He says he will help if it will make him stronger so he can protect Kuse. He seems to dislike men and talks in third person.
