Zombie Loan Manga 2

Michiru finally stands uo to her friends and says she will not go get them lunch becausse she is not going for hers. She finds her friend Yumi has taken three days of notes for her. After realizing she is not alone, Michiru decides she is happy to be alive and heads to the Z-Loan Office. There Michiru meets another zombie and finds that Yuuta is also one; whereas Bekkou is different - He's a Ferryman. Here we meet Yuuta, Kenken, and Konkon.

It is up to a young girl to get Michiru a home, because Chika protests to her wasting of money. Meanwhile, Bekkou informs Chika and Shito that someone is making illegal zombies. Due to lack of manpower and time "above", the prices for rewards will rise.

The young girl is Kuse Shimotsuki and the chairperson. She shows Michiru to an old chapel that still works as living quarters. Poeple are not normally allowed to use it. However when two special conditions are met students are allowed to use Kuro Dorms as housing. The first condition is: students who have issues with housing due to personal problems. Before the chair person can explain the second condition a hyper Koyomi is introduced and asked to show Michiru the rest of the dorms.

Michiru spent all day cleaning her new room (And gets so carried away she cleans the bathrooms and several other community rooms) and only wants to sleep. Instead she finds Shito, Chika, and Koyomi throwing her a small welcome party. Being the ever kind boy that he is Chika reveals why he and Shito took the debt to save Michiru. Now she owes them, she has to help them pay their debt back! Kuse pops back up saying that the second condition for living in the dorms is that students must be an asset to the academy. Once everyone leaves Michiru gets to meet Yomi, the spirit who shares a baody with Koyomi. Unlike Koyomi, Yomi is touchy feely and starts to molest her. Thanks to Kuse, Michiru is saved.

Shito and Chika vist the subway to get information. Commenting that "he" is not very helpful. And that if they are not careful, they will be reaped. Chika mentions they should have used Yomi instead. Chika then goes to work a part time job and is reminded by Shito to stay in range, but Boy B doesn't listen. He loses his hand and Touhou makes a small, and annoying visit to Shito.

Michiru meets Koyomi at school, only Koyomi has no idea what happened between Yomi and Michiru. Koyomi makes Yomi a big lunch that gets shared with Shito, while chika tries to make some extra cash. After musing about Yomi; Shito and Chika decide to put Michiru to use.

There is a hostage/murder scene with a faceless zombie, numbers, and some butterflies.

They need her to get Yomi who can find zombies. But Yomi is difficult to deal with by nature. Michiru's kiss awakens Yomi and she is asked to work by Bekkou.

She gives a string of information: Seventy Two, Save Me!, some noise.

Everyone decides to dicpher the information while Chika drags Michiru off to his part time job. Where not suprisingly Chika puts her to work while he relaxes. He claims to be organizing magazine issues while he reads while she is left to do inventory and stock shelves. In attmepts to catch a shoplifter Chika runs into and old friend (literally) Reiichirou Shiba.

Chika's old classmate and best friend Reichirou Shiba finds Chika after not seeing him since they left jr. high. The two get along very well and look happy to see each other.

While walking home, Chika, Michiru and Shiba get attacked by zombie rats. Shito isn't around so Chika can't exchange hands with him to form his sword, since the weapon must be formed with his original right hand; he is also concerned about Shiba finding out that he's a zombie. When they are cornered Shiba saved them with a little machine that produces sound that the human ear cannot perceive but it scares away the rats.

Shiba shows suspicion about what Chika and Michiru would have done if he wasn't there. Trying to protect Chika's zombie secret, he and Michiru escape with the excuse that the food they are taking home is getting cold.

Hiding Z-Loan office from Shiba proved useless, he knows more than he initially let on. From the beginning Shito is distrustful but Chika insists that Shiba is on their side.

The Z-Loan team has been investigating a series of murders committed by the "Butterfly" whom they have not been able to identify or track down. Shiba helps decipher the clues easily as if he knows what they are supposed to mean...

Just this once, Bekkou agrees to let Shiba on the hunting team.With Shiba on the team, the boys hack into the Butterfly Forum. They find that the butterfly followers are holding a meeting at 6:00 PM and that they have little time to cacth them.

Meanwhile Michiru and Koyomi are shopping, they find the best outfits - lacy and fluttery. Michiru spots the shoplifter from the other day and decides to walk over ot him. She notices a black ring. It's up to Koyomi and Michiru to follow them; while the boys only have four minutes to find their destination. Koyomi mistakes their mission of following a zombie as tailing a suspect - Enter Lacy Cop! Their mission fails.

Ohstu, on the other hand is seen checking up on a corpse.

Semi Important Notes: The manga is very close to episodes 3-5 with the exception that it does not end where five does, it ends right before Koyomi and Michiru get mistaken for Butterfly enthusiasts. Another thing to note is that Michiru asks Koyomi about the guys and the office, but Koyomi does not know what she is talking about. So it is Yomi who has a debt, not Koyomi.

It is also interesting that Shito and Chika go to see the Grim Reaper for information on the souls in the area.
