Bekko

twins twins

Here we have our dear Bekko alongside Saitou Hajime from Peace Maker Kurogane. Now, they do not look distinctively similar save for maybe their lazy boy look. Perhaps not quite twins in their appearance, personality wise they are very similar seemingly both very lazy and laid back.

Both are tuned to the spirit world, Bekko being a Ferryman, and Hajime can see, sense, and feel spirits and their thoughts. Hajime can view the memories of a corpse as he does in one episode. Bekko on the other hand can offer them a loan to become zombies or if someone is not quite dead yet, change their fate.

Their jobs are different too; Hajime is a samurai who loves soba. Actually in the both the anime and manga, Hajime is rarely shown actually buying his food. Someone else is usually tricked into it. Bekko is a ferryman who loves money. But he's not always stingy with money as Shito and Chika note when they give money to funerals for the illegal zombies they put to rest.

Chika

twins twins twins twins

Chika is my favorite Zombie Loan character, and it wasn't until after he became my (Mikari) favorite that I started to see the similarities between him and Reno from Final Fantasy VII. Their personality is generally similar, cheerful and carefree. Plus it seems they bought their earrings in the same place. The most amusing similarity is the fact that they have both suffered some form of nose attack.

Neither Reno nor Chika wear their complete uniform. Reno doesn't wear the tie while Chika skips out on both the tie and jacket. They both work with a quiet and serious partner, Rude and Shito respectively. Shito is practically Vincent's long lost brother with all the similarities between them, but let's stay on topic.

They both have unusual hair in colors that do exist but not like that. Red hair exists, but isn't that bright unless you dye it. White and black hair exists, but not like Chika's unless there's dye involved. Their hair is also different in the front and back. Reno has short hair in front with a few longer strands that fall over his goggles, and long hair in the back. Chika has white hair in front with a few black strands and black hair in the back.

Golem-chan

twins twins

The little fairy who wishes to be a real girl is Kororo, from Bottle Fairy. Striking resemblance, yes? There are some differences to be sure, Golem-chan has different colored skin tones from having been pieced together from corpses. However, both girls have large, round, blue eyes, pink hair and a plain white (or off white) dress. Personality wise, they are also upbeat. Golem-chan shows hope and optimism, happiness, the very basic human emotions, and Kororo is young and excitable as she tries to learn to be a real human girl.

They also share an innocence similar to children, while Kororo can talk she's not very knowledgeable and she asks a lot of questions. Golem-chan has to learn from watching but seemed very happy to learn things, as well as hearing the idea she could go to school.

Companion wise, Kororo cares for Sensei-san very much and has three sisters, Tama-chan, and Oboro-chan. While Golem-chan has a lonelier existence only having Yoshizumi and Chainsaw whom she fears and later Shito who is the first to be nice to her. Unlike Golem-chan, Kororo has a much happier ending.

Ken Ken & Kon Kon

twins twins

Ken Ken and Kon Kon are Yuuta's hands. They're hands, all hands have similarities, but what makes Ken Ken and Kon Kon special is the hand sign Yuuta uses to represent them which is not something people randomly do too often (save for Yuuta). This version of Sailor Venus is from the live action Sailor Moon series.

Up

Michiru

twins twins

Michiru-chan has a twin too! Here we have Tori from Rune Factory and Michiru. Both girls are quiet, shy and wear large glasses. They also share the braided hair, although Michiru has two braids instead of one, and then none at all. Aside from slight differences in appearance, the two girls share more in common personality wise.

Both are shy, as previously stated. They seem naive and prone to quiet activities, reading for Tori, playing Gopher for Michiru. Neither is very out spoken unless they absolutely have to be. They seem to be very easily talked into things and are often overcome with worry. On the other hand Michiru does seem to have underlying strength when she really needs it. Tori is a constant shy, quiet girl.

twins twins

Michiru and Aeris from Final Fantasy VII don't look alike except for the fact that they have green eyes, though not identical in shade and Michiru has reaper eyes, but they do have their similarities. Both lost their parents at an early age. They are unique, Michiru with her eyes and Aeris being the last cetra.

Michiru is developing her abilities to sense zombies and death, similarly Aeris can feel when people join the life stream. During the course of the story they must both learn to better control their abilities to help their friends. They are both patient and seem to dislike conflict more so then their companions, though they do defend themselves when really needed.

Aeris died but remained present in the life stream. Michiru came very close to dying, being marked with a black ring and would have died if not for the help she got from Z-Loan, though she didn't turn into a zombie. They both continue to be present in an unusual way, Aeris in the life stream and Michiru being alive because of the change done to her fate.

Ohtsu

twins twins

Other than the different hair color, Ohtsu and Godai from Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro, look a lot alike. In terms of personality they are quite different. Ohtsu is calm and quiet, while Godai is temperamental and loud. However, they have a lot of similarities in their situations.

Godai formerly worked for a loan shark. He ended up working for a demon detective who eats mysteries after said detective took over their office as payment for solving the mystery of their former boss' death. In a way you could say Bekko is a loan shark. Ohtsu is seen informing other of Bekko's clients about the new terms of service after the required payments increase due to competition from A-Loan, in a similar way, Godai's former job was to collect payments.

Godai and Ohtsu both have bosses with supernatural powers Bekko and Neuro respectively, though Godai is a normal human. Both their respective bosses have a sort of "ownership" on their lives. Bekko is the source of Ohtsu's zombie loan and Neuro refers to Godai as his slave, despite Godai constantly denying it.

They both often go out to investigate and gather clues. While Bekko hangs around in the office, Neuro goes out to investigate along with his human assistant (slave) Yako. In both cases, neither Ohtsu nor Godai are the center of attention too often, but they both tag along with the main protagonists on occasion, if not, they play important roles outside of the spotlight.

Up

Shito

twins twins

Snow's seeing double and she's totally liking it! The lovely Turk Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII and Shito Tachibana not only do they share appearances, they also fight with guns. Plus they both dress very professionally; full suit, tie, buttoned up, tucked in shirt.

Another thing that is similar is that they are both quiet, composed (usually) and serious. Both can be very goal oriented and hardly seem to show a caring or lighter side. So they share not only appearance but personality. Not to mention when they love they do so deeply.

Going a little deeper into their living situations, both men are technically walking dead. Shito being a zombie, while Vincent was shot and revived, then had his body altered and played as host to Chaos. Both are physically older than they actually appear to be. Originally Vincent harbored ill feelings and felt like a monster, while Shito practically is considered a monster by some (Toho and the Xu Fu for example), but the both of them resent it.

If we look into Turk Vincent, then we see that he is young, naive and hopelessly loyal. Shito is very much the same. They would give anything to a cause or person.

twins twins

Kyoya Ootori from Ouran High School Host club and Shito share more in common personality wise. Both are serious, stern and usually looking to benefit themselves. Kyoya has gotten the nickname "Shadow King" and I (Snow) think that that would be the nice version of many of the things that Chika calls Shito.

In short, both are seemingly cold uncaring unless it can benefit them in some way, but actually nicer than they appear. They are both easily irritated by their partners Tamaki and Chika respectively. All that aside, Kyoya without his glasses and both boys having towels on their heads made me double take.

Up

Toho

twins twins

Ichimaru Gin from Bleach and Toho (or as Snow calls him, Xuhu) They both have a very similar haircut, slim snaky eyes, and creepy smiles. Other than having a striking similar resemblance, they are both mean, manipulative people. Toho looks a bit smaller, but both men are very strong spiritually.

They both seem to have an affinity for sneaking around and being jerks. Gin has a new habit of betrayal, but Toho seems to always be stabbing Shito in the back and making his life troublesome. Both are also important men. Gin the Third Captain and Toho a high raked Xu Fu exorcist. Both of them give Snow the creeps and she believes they should be shoved in boxes!

twins twins

When will they learn that one is enough? Actually, one is too many, but I must inform you that there is another Toho twin out there, and he's so identical it makes me wonder who's copying who.

Edwards from Tactics is part of a mysterious organization that has been experimenting with evil spirits, but he can also exorcise them. He disguises himself as a priest who exorcises evil spirits, but he is actually calling them to do the bidding of his superiors in the organization. Then he exorcises them when they are no longer of use.

Toho is also part of an organization, the Xu Fu, they have experimented with zombies and the undead, with Shito as one of the zombies that resulted from that. Toho can also fight against zombies and undead beings with his magic. They are both in organizations, they experiment, manipulate and exorcise, all with the same creepy smile. Honestly, they're just way too similar.

twins twins

There's more, this is Sai from Naruto, he's younger than Toho but they share the same expression with a touch of oddity. Credit goes to Tamara who posted the suggestion to add Sai as a Toho twin.

Sai's special skills include drawing and bringing those drawings out of the scrolls making his creatures attack. Toho can animate paper doll to hunt the undead and supernatural. In a way the ninja art Sai uses can be seen as a sort of sorcery, and we all know Toho can use sorcery.

Up

Yuuri

twins twins

Yuuri and the young host king Tamaki Suou of Ouran High School Host Club, the two look very similar. Blond hair, feminine builds. If Tamaki grew out his hair and had green eyes instead of purple, he would probably be the image of Yuuri.

Similar looks aside, the two behave in the very same manner. Both are loud, obnoxious, loving, somewhat spastic and overbearing fathers. Yuuri more so then Tamaki, but Tamaki does insist on being Haruhi's "otou-san", just as much as Chika seems to be annoyed by his father.

twins twins

Here are Yuuri and Wolfram from Kyo Kara Maoh. They are both blonds and have green eyes. Though Yuuri tends to be friendlier and Wolfram is a little more formal, they do have generally similar personalities and can be pretty and spontaneous. As a random note, due to a misunderstanding Wolfram ended up being engaged to another guy named Yuuri.
