Yoshizumi

Yoshizumi is the classic mad doctor obsessed with creating life, immortality and all that fun stuff. He created golems from pieces of corpses. The two main golems feature on the anime are Golem-chan, a golem girl who treats Shito's wounds while he's being held hostage, and Chainsaw, a tall golem man with a chainsaw. These golems don't have official names but Snow and I call the girl Golem-chan, and I thought calling the guy Chainsaw seemed logical enough.

All of this was in an effort to find the corpse release spell, the secret of immortality, for which Yoshizumi held Shito hostage.

Yoshizumi also created Phalanx; a brainless green blob with many hands that he claims is the ultimate creature, go figure. But despite all of this Yoshizumi is one serious mad doctor. He eventually fused with Phalanx, becoming its brain, when Carmella informed him of the changes in his fate regarding his possible death in the near future.

Phalanx was dissolved by an antidote which Nogi gave to Ohtsu, and Yoshizumi died, as confirmed by Carmella, who mentions he could not escape his fate.
