Zarame

Zarame is also known as Grim Reaper or Shinigami. It is possible to contact him through Koume, and the newspaper stand is either were he lives, or more likely, the hiding place of some kind of portal to his home.

Sotetsu mentions that Zarame is very strong, and sometimes reaps legal zombies just the same as illegal ones, which left Sotetsu with a few close calls. Zarame is first seen reaping, or attempting to reap Shiba. When the Z-Loan team meets him again seeking in help in locating Shito, his core, the source of his power has been stolen, leaving Zarame as a chibi with a small fraction of the power he used to have.

It is said that a human stole his core, most likely a zombie. But the identity of the one who took Zarame's core is left in mystery. A theory is that it could have been Shiba.

Michiru takes a liking to Zarame, since chibis are her weakness, she glomps him and is the one known character besides Koume who can understand him in chibi form. Zarame joins the Z-Loan team in hopes of finding his stolen core, and often sits on Michiru's shoulder while they go zombie hunting.
